The goal of the Public Relations Department is to promote the persons who receive services through Ellisville State School, as well as the employees, and to provide the public with informative, current information regarding services and activities at Ellisville State School.
The Public Relations Department is responsible for the overall management, and operation of internal and public information programs, and for establishing and maintaining effective relations with the local community. The Public Relations Department also schedules tours of ESS and the community programs.
Public Relations staff oversee the Adopt-A-Friend, Volunteer Programs, and process all donations to the facility. The department coordinates special events and religious services and maintains a close liaison with the Foster Grandparent Program of the Pine Belt and the Family and Friends of ESS Association.
